Leo Vandenberg has been successful in the Blacksmith business for the past forty-six years, creating exceptionally beautiful handcrafted wrought ironwork. These skills have been honed from many years of experience and driven from his earlier apprentice days in the Netherlands.

In 1976 Leo came to Canada and started a Blacksmith shop in the city of Richmond, BC. A respected Blacksmith for the past fifty-three years, his shop is successful because it has always retained the importance of keeping with traditional blacksmith skills. Each piece of Leo Vandenberg's wrought ironwork begins with a sledgehammer, forge and most importantly, a hard-working Blacksmith. Leo Vandenberg employees are artisans and craftsman; there is no mass production, thus ensuring a guarantee of excellent workmanship and high quality standards of every design creation. Each product is scalded by a centuries old waxing process, which inhibits rust and protects the finish. This is why Leo Vandenberg products can stand the test of time, and can be passed down from generation to generation.
